Chiropractic Exam and Treatment

What to expect...

On our first visit you will have a 40 minute, 1-on-1 appointment with one of our chiropractors.

  • 10 minutes are spent talking about the history. What/when/where/how did it start and where are we at today. What are your goals with treatment.

  • 10 minutes are spent performing a thorough exam

  • The exam includes: Range of motion, neurological system exam, musculoskeletal system exam, orthopedic exam and testing, functional movement assessment screening

  • 5 minutes are spent reviewing what we found and discussing why you’re feeling your current symptoms.

  • 5 minutes are spent reviewing how we’re going to fix the problem. We use certain services to address a specific part of your condition and build an individualized treatment plan based on your condition and goals.

  • 10 minutes are spent on the first treatment. Typically, a chiropractic adjustment will be combine with one of the therapies found: here

    • Total - 40 minutes. You leave with knowledge of what the problem is, a plan to fix it, and your first treatment

Follow Up visits are 15 minutes. We get right down to executing our treatment plan. Working on muscles and restoring normal joint motion.

 

Physical Therapy Exam and Treatment

What to expect...

On our first visit you will have a 60 minute, 1-on-1 appointment with our physical therapist.

The first visit entails:

  • 10 minutes are spent talking about the history. What/when/where/how did it start and where are we at today. What are your goals with treatment.

  • 10-15 minutes are spent performing a thorough exam

  • The exam includes: Range of motion, neurological system exam, musculoskeletal system exam, orthopedic exam and testing, muscle strength assessment, functional movement assessment screening

  • 10 minutes are spent reviewing what we found and discussing why you’re feeling your current symptoms.

  • 5 minutes are spent reviewing how we’re going to fix the problem. We use certain services to address a specific part of your condition and build an individualized rehabilitation treatment plan based on your condition and goals.

  • 20 minutes are spent on the first treatment. Typically we combine rehabilitation and strength exercises with trigger point dry needling therapy to maximize your results.

    • Total - 45-60 minutes. You leave with knowledge of what the problem is, a plan to fix it, and your first treatment

Follow Up visits are 40 or 60 minutes. We get right down to executing our treatment plan. Working on restoring normal joint stability, control, and strength.

 

Massage Therapy

What to expect...

60 or 90 minutes of therapeutic massage work. Unlike your typical relaxation massage, our therapists are expertly trained to loosen stubborn tightness. Always modified to your level of comfort, our massage sessions are goal oriented and aim to help break up tightness in muscle, fascia, and scar tissue.
