I don’t know where to begin, but these guys are amazing. Their front desk staff are friendly and easy to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Steve Brown (Chiropractor) and Dr. Jill (Physical Therapist) under the same roof!

I was in a severe severe motor vehicle accident and I was referred from a friend to Boulder Sports Chiropractic. I was told I would be thoroughly evaluated and treated as a individual and not just a dollar sign, and the outcome couldn’t be more accurate. I was assessed daily, I was given exercises to further my progress (we used a combination McKenzie technique, banded work, cable machines, kettlebells, trap bar, barbell, you name it, they had it!!) After physical therapy I would go to chiropractic care. This helped not only increase my range of motion it helped turn on problematic areas of pain or dysfunction. Dr. Brown always asked me what was bothering me, and how I was able to reproduce the problems. He then treated all of the possibilities with different modalities to ensure I was taken care of ( active release technique, graston, dry needling, class 4 laser (personal favorite =), and the best therapy of all good listening. Dr. Brown and Dr. Jill were always good ears to bend with insightful ways to improve my outlook. If you have ever been in a car accident you’ll understand this the most. I felt better and better as we treated and never did they ask me one time about the money situation. This told me they were there to help me and, appropriately, all of the financials were handled with the front desk who was friendly everyday when I walked in and walked out.

The entire environment and professionalism here is worth 5 starts. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are involved in a car accident, this is the best conservative treatment in a sports chiropractic setting you can imagine with one-on-one physical therapy!!!! Thank you guys for helping me get back to what I love doing.

You've been in an accident and now you're feeling pain - what is next? Immediately following the impact, adrenaline levels are high and often prevent you from experiencing any initial pain. However, as time goes on and the rush subsides, aches and pains tend to show up. Pain levels commonly continue to increase over the following weeks after the accident. As a result, there is often damage to both the muscles, ligaments, and joints of the spine and extremities, even in low velocity impacts. Whiplash injuries often occur as the body experiences a force that causes the neck or spine to move in a whip-like motion, from extension to flexion. These quick and powerful motions lead to strain/sprain injuries. The damage can lead to serious and even lifelong chronic pain if not addressed appropriately.

Common Car Accident Injuries:

Who pays for my car or auto accident chiropractic treatment?

In Colorado, residents are covered automatically for car accident chiropractic through their car insurance premiums with Med Pay - unless they specifically choose to opt out. Most individuals are unaware that this option even exists, and that they are most likely already paying monthly for it. It is designed to help your return to pre-injury status, while not having to stress with paying out of pocket for your rehab & wellness. I encourage everyone to contact their car insurance carrier, and to learn more about this option as it needs to be in place prior to the incident. Often, Med Pay is not only limited to motor vehicle accidents, and in certain circumstances may also allow coverage following a vehicular collision even while on your bike.

In some situations, extensive treatment is required to get you back into your regular routine, especially if your Med Pay was exhausted immediately following an accident through hospital bills. In these scenarios, we can set up a medical lien or work with a local injury finance company to be sure that you get the care you deserve. In these situations it is wise to seek out the assistance of an attorney who specializes in motor vehicle collisions, who can help get you the appropriate care and treatment without having to pay out of pocket.
